Mudassar Choudhary
Founder, SolarPrices.pk
I built SolarPrices.pk to make solar pricing in Pakistan easier to understand. I write, verify, and maintain everything on this site directly — from the installer directory to the solar calculator to the pricing guides.
Why I built this site
Solar pricing in Pakistan varies enormously between installers, and it’s genuinely hard for a homeowner to know what a fair price looks like or which companies are properly licensed. I built SolarPrices.pk to close that gap: a free, independent place to compare indicative pricing, check an installer’s AEDB certification status, and request quotes without pressure.
I work with a data collection partner on the ground in Punjab to keep installer listings current, and I personally review and update the site’s pricing guidance as Pakistan’s net-metering and net-billing rules change — including the shift to net billing in February 2026, which I rebuilt the site’s solar calculator around.
Background
I’m the director of Computer Troubleshooters Redbridge Ltd, a UK-registered technology company, where I run a portfolio of digital businesses including SolarPrices.pk. My background is in web development, SEO, and building lead-generation platforms end-to-end — site architecture, content, and the technical side alike.
That work also runs commercially through Search Craft Lab, my web-services brand, which builds and maintains sites for selected clients.
Alongside the digital businesses, Computer Troubleshooters Redbridge Ltd provides IT support services, including a day-rate support contract with the Ministry of Justice.
Other sites I run
SolarPrices.pk is one of four consumer sites I build and maintain under Computer Troubleshooters Redbridge Ltd. Each follows the same principle: publish clear, honest information in a market where it is otherwise hard to find.
- DirectAirportTaxi.com — fixed-price airport transfers across all major UK airports, with prices confirmed upfront and no hidden extras.
- ID1Verify.co.uk — solicitor-led identity verification for HM Land Registry ID1, ID2 and ID5 forms, bookable online.
- EPCRatingCheck.co.uk — free instant EPC rating lookup for any property in England and Wales, using open government data.
